Curious George, written and illustrated by Margret and H.A. Rey, was published in 1941 and tell the story of an orphaned monkey from Africa named George.The Man in the Yellow Hat kidnaps George using a straw hat trap and takes him by ship to America to live in a zoo. Along the way, they have many misadventures and develop a relationship. George's curiosity often leads to trouble, but he uses his ingenuity to get out of it.
