Our Story

We are so glad you are here! Home Brand, coined by our oldest when asked what we should name our brand. Founded by artist Gaia Nardie-Warner but in reality is a family project and ongoing studio practice. Our pieces are made to engage with the environments we inhabit most frequently as a family; our home, nature, and the transitions in between. Our silhouettes are inspired by the places we’ve seen, the people we’ve met, all while watching how our kids interact, absorb, and create with the world around them. We make garments for the boldest movements, messiest moments of creativity, deepest slumbers, and for those adventure bound souls. Made to fit for many years and strong enough to pass along.
We believe our children will need all the creative thinking tools they can obtain to confront the changes Mother Earth is undergoing. Our family project aims to demonstrate that creativity empowers change and can be a solution.
Our garments are made in small batches supporting our local Baltimore community. By producing in small batches we reduce material waste and our carbon footprint. We source our material from communities that value the tradition of making textiles and support this tradition being passed along. We use high quality natural fibers, and organic and deadstock material when possible.
In addition to our home line, we have a curated selection of vintage and found garments which speaks to our brand ethos.
Welcome to the neighborhood!
